Thermal Reconditioning
Thermal Reconditioning, also referred to as Japanese Hair straightening, is a permanent hair straightening technique that originated in Japan around 12 years ago. It is a revolutionary approach to bringing unruly, frizzy or curly hair to silky and straight. Different from a traditional relaxer, gentle chemicals and a flat iron are used to render the hair straight. The procedure can take anywhere from 3 to 6 hours depending on the thickness and length of your hair and retouches are usually only needed once or twice a year.Our specialist has the greatest of care and concern for the integrity of your hair and has years of experience as a hair straightening specialist.

The process is most ideal for virgin hair, however it can be done over color and some highlights. We perform a strand test on each client to ensure a great result and we use the Yuko system which is specifically designed for color treated hair and gives the most natural looking finish and body.After this service, you can expect little or no maintenance in most cases. If you have virgin hair, you can let your hair air dry and it will be silky, smooth and straight. If you have color you may have to toscle your hair dry with your fingers and if you have highlights you may have to lightly iron your hair after blowing out all the moisture.
